Biography
My work covers the psychoacoustics of musical timbre including psychophysical scaling of acoustic dimensions, physiologically plausible modeling of timbre processing, mental models of musical sound sources, memory for timbre sequences, and affective dimensions of timbre. It also covers the cognitive dynamics of music listening (continuous behavioural and psychophysiological measures of response during music listening) and aspects of the perception of orchestration related to auditory grouping processes.
