Research Interest
My research interests include health-related outcomes of osteoporosis, particularly following hip fracture and hip fracture repair, health system improvement for this population through development of quality indicators, and safety of osteoporosis treatments such as bisphosphonates and atypical femur fractures and calcium supplements and vascular health in postmenopausal women. I am also implementing a quality improvement initiative at the MUHC that aims to improve pain management in the emergency department in elderly who have sustained a fracture.
