Research Interest
My research focuses on high value healthcare, which is the optimal use of medications, tests, and procedures to improve patient safety and outcomes while minimizing unnecessary harms and financial costs. I am very interested in the Choosing Wisely movement and conduct research to facilitate and evaluate its impact. I also perform research in infectious diseases focusing around antibiotic resistant organisms, how they are treated in clinical practice and the associated outcomes.
