Biography
I joined the Applied Mathematics Group in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McGill in 2002, having previously been a Senior Lecturer at Sussex in England. I became an associate member of the Department of Physiology in 2017. I am also a member of the Applied Mathematics Laboratory of the Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM), and of the Nonlinear Dynamics Group of the Centre for Applied Mathematics in Bioscience and Medicine (CAMBAM). My research lies in the areas of numerical analysis and dynamical systems, often at the intersection of the two. Current and recent projects mainly focus on the dynamics, numerical analysis and applications of delay differential equations, especially equations with state-dependent and distributed delays. Applications are mostly in the mathematical modelling of hematopoiesis. Follow the links at the top of the page for more information.
