Biography
Dr. Yong Rao received Ph. D. in 1994 from Department of Biochemistry, University of Toronto, Canada. He became a Postdoctoral fellow with Dr. S. Lawrence Zipursky at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, USA, between 1994-1998. He is currently an Associate Professor at Centre for Research in Neuroscience, Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Department of Medicine, McGill University Health Centre. He received Young Investigator Award from American Peptide Society, New Investigator Award from Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and Senior Research Scholar Award from Le Fonds de la Recherche en Sante de Quebec.Dr. Yong Rao received Ph. Research Interest
Research interests include neuronal circuit formation, aggression and Parkinson’s disease.
