Ravi Deshpande

Biography

Ravi Deshpande oversees McKesson Specialty pharmacies, patient services, strategic consulting and infusion services across Canada.     He also oversees the short- and long-term strategic plan as well as mergers and acquisitions in Canada.    Prior to joining McKesson Canada, Mr. Deshpande held appointments in the hospital sector, and was Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University in North Carolina.  He co-founded Phase 4 Health, a pharmaceutical services firm providing patient, prescription and consulting services to the pharmaceutical industry which was acquired by McKesson Canada in 2005.    A licensed pharmacist, Ravi Deshpande holds a BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto, completed his hospital pharmacy residency at the University of Ottawa and obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from the State University of New York.
