Biography
Dr. K. Al-Nedawi’s lab is interested in studying the intercellular communication via extracellular vesicles (microvesicles/exosomes) in different aspects with a particular focus on cancer biology (oncogenesis, angiogenesis, tumor suppression). He studies these vesicles as a source of biomarkers for diagnosis of various types of cancer, as well as investigating the role of extracellular vesicles to predict the outcome of the kidney transplant.
