Biography
Dr. Saveriano is a graduate of McGill University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degrees in Honors Immunology and Physiology as well as her Medical degree. She did an Internal Medicine internship prior to pursuing General Surgery training and a subsequent Dermatology residency. She has specialist certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and from the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Saveriano has been in private practice in Hamilton since 1991 and holds staff positions at St. Joseph's Healthcare and the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, McMaster University and Past Chairman of the Division of Dermatology in the Hamilton Academy of Medicine. She currently sits on the Incentives Committee of the Hamilton Academy of Medicine. Dr. Saveriano has authored numerous publications and has participated in several television interviews on Dermatology topics. She conducts teaching clinics for physicians in training and lectures to practicing physicians. Her practice is dedicated to General Dermatology.
