Biography
Originally from Wawa in northern Ontario, undergraduate training in physics at the University of Western Ontario was followed by medical school at Queens, anesthesiology at Queen's, and then critical care at Toronto. MSc in Community Health completed at Toronto, thesis: Monitoring practice of anesthesiologists during cardiovascular procedures. MBA completed at Cornell/Queen's. Clinical practice is in critical care and anesthesiology. Research interests are in psychological concerns of the critically ill and in perioperative medicine.
