Biography
Mr. Douglas S. Prince, also known as Doug, served as the Chief Financial Officer of Northern Power Systems Corp. (formerly Wind Power Holdings Inc.). Mr. Prince served as the Chief Financial Officer at Northern Power Systems, Inc., until February 2013. He served as an Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Nordion Inc. (Formerly MDS Inc.) from March 12, 2007 to March 31, 2010. He served as President of MDS (Canada) Inc. He is an executive with over 28 years experience in finance and operations management. Mr. Prince has also held senior leadership roles at PerkinElmer, GE Capital, Aeroquip-Vickers and AlliedSignal and spent the first 15 years of his career with General Electric. He joined MDS from PerkinElmer, where he launched the Enterprise Risk Management Initiative and led Internal Audit. Previously, he served as Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of the life and analytical sciences global business that operates in 40 countries with over $1B in revenue. Mr. Prince spent more than half of his career serving in finance leadership and management roles with General Electric. During his 17 years with GE Capital, he led strategic turnarounds, acquisitions, integration activities and major productivity initiatives. Mr. Prince was Director of Finance with AlliedSignal, where his leadership in integration projects served to boost productivity and increase sales. He has been a Director of Senseonics Holdings, Inc. since December 2015. He served as Director at Senseonics, Incorporated from February 2015 to December 2015. Mr. Prince is a Six Sigma Black Belt holder. He earned BBA in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.
