Steven M. West

Biography

Mr. Steven M. West, also known as Steve, is the Founder and Partner at Emerging Company Partners LLC. Mr. West is a 30-year veteran of the information technology marketplace. He served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer of CreekPath Systems, Inc. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of nCUBE Corporation (nCUBE Video Technologies) from December 2001 to July 2003. He served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer and President of Voxeo Germany GmbH since October 2005. He has general management experience and a realistic vision for the future direction of the information technology marketplace. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of American Internet Corporation. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Entera, Inc. from September 1999 to January 2001. From June 1996 to September 1999, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Data Systems, (a division of Hitachi Japan) a joint venture computer hardware services company owned by Hitachi, Ltd. and Electronic Data Systems Corporation. He served with Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) from November 1984 to June 1996 including served as its President of the Services Business Unit from January 1999 to August 1999 and also served as the President of Infotainment Business Unit. He joined LogLogic in 2004. He has been a Director at Autodesk, Inc. since October 2, 2007, Delta-Q Technologies Corp. since April 1996 and Cisco Systems, Inc. since April 1996. He serves as a Director of D-Wave Systems Inc. and Autodesk Limited. He served as a Director of Autodesk, Inc. since October 2, 2007 until January 11, 2017He served as a Director of CreekPath Systems, Inc. and Bycast, Inc. He served as a Director of Voxeo Germany GmbH since December 2005 and Nyce Networks, Inc. since January 2011. He served as a Director of Landsonar, Corvigo, A&M School of Engineering and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation San Jose Chapter. He served as a Director of Gadzoox Networks, Inc. since 2001. He served as a Director of American Internet Corporation, NetSys Technologies, InfoGear Technology Corporation, TIBCO LogLogic Inc., PipeLinks, Inc., Growth Networks, Inc., Entera, Inc. and Combinet, Inc. He is a Broadcast Engineer licensed by the Federal Communications Commission. He is an Active Member in the Audit Committee Leadership Network, Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Mr. West holds a BS in Electronic Engineering from Siena Heights College in 1979 and Graduate of the University of Michigan Global Leadership Program in 1992.
