Steve Cardin

Biography

Steve Cardin heads MedPlast’s Medical Device Solutions, overseeing sub- and finished device assembly operations for demanding medical applications. Steve joined MedPlast in 2017 through the acquisition of Vention Medical, where he served as Vice President of Operations. In this role, he was responsible for operations, supply chain and program management, and was instrumental in expanding the manufacturing footprint in Costa Rica and Grand Rapids. Previously, Steve held various roles at Baxter Healthcare where he was responsible for management and operations of critical care medical devices and global plastics processing manufacturing plants. Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a master’s in business administration from the Healthcare Executive program at University of California, Irvine.
