Angelina Mehta

Biography

Angelina is an Investment Manager with The Sentient Group, a private equity fund focused on natural resources. She holds a degree in Mining Engineering and an MBA from McGill University in Montreal. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Pershimco Resources, a publicly listed company focused on a gold project in Panama, and a member of the advisory board of McGill University’s mining engineering program. She is a founding member of Women in Mining (WIM) Montreal, and recently joined the WIM Canada Board. Angelina gained both mine site technical and corporate office financial experience with Rio Tinto’s subsidiary, Iron Ore Company of Canada. She worked in financial roles with BMO Financial Group in Toronto, and Lafarge and CN Railway in Montreal. She is also a member of CIM, and a professional engineer registered in Quebec.
