Richard D. Mcbee

Biography

Mr. Richard D. McBee, also known as Rich, has been the Chief Executive Officer at Mitel Networks Corp. since January 17, 2011 and has been its President since May 2011. Mr. McBee served as the Chief Operating Officer at Mitel Networks Corporation since May 2011. Mr. McBee has more than 20 years experience in telecommunications. He served as the President of the Communications & Enterprise Group of Danaher Corporation. He served as Vice President and Group Executive at Danaher Corp., from January 2009 to May 1, 2011. Mr. McBee joined Danaher in 2007 as President of Tektronix Communications, following the acquisition by Danaher of Tektronix. Mr. McBee served as Senior Vice President of Communications Business at Tektronix, Inc., since June 23, 2005 and its General Manager of Communications Business. Mr. McBee served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Service & Marketing of Tektronix, Inc. from March 14 2005 to June 23, 2005 and its Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Service and Marketing from March 2001 to March 14 2005. He joined Tektronix, Inc. in May 1991 as Product Marketing Manager and held various management positions in marketing until 1995. He then moved into the U.S. Sales organization where he held various management positions including: Major Accounts Manager, Federal Sales and Marketing Manager and Region Manager for the U.S. South Central Region. After this field experience, he returned to Tektronix' headquarters as Director of Strategic Planning. Mr. McBee served as a Director of Marketing for the Instruments Business Unit from November 1995 to August 1997, General Manager of Tektronix Canada until May 1999, Vice President of Global Marketing and Strategic Initiatives until November 1999 and Vice President of Global Marketing and Strategic Initiatives until January 2000, when he served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. Mr. McBee began his career as a Program Manager for the development of satellite control systems as a member of the United States Air Force. He has been Director of Mitel Networks Corp. since January 20, 2011. He serves as a Director of Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions. He holds Board position on the Portland State University Business Advisory Council and is a trustee of the Tektronix Foundation. Mr. McBee received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Chapman School of Business and Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy.
