Biography
Charmaine is a member of the firm’s management team and is responsible for leading MNP’s Legal team. Working in private practice and in-house for professional services firms and national energy companies, she has extensive experience of the legal issues facing corporate entities. Charmaine earned her Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 1986 and her Bachelor of Law in 1989 from the University of Saskatchewan. In 2002, she obtained her Masters of Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. Active in her community, Charmaine is the past president of Alberta Theatre Projects. Charmaine also served as the Run Director for CIBC Run for the Cure. Charmaine has held the role of chair for the Young Lawyers sub-section in Calgary for the Canadian Bar Association. Charmaine is also a signatory of the Legal Leaders for Diversity program, as well as a signatory to A Call To Action Canada.
