John Ivan Bitove

Biography

Mr. John Ivan Bitove serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Feenix Wireless Inc. Mr. Bitove has been an Executive Chairman of Mobilicity since November 2011. He has been an Executive Chairman of Data & Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless, Inc. since November 2011. He is the Majority Owner of Obelysk, Inc. (also known as Scott's Restaurants Inc.), the owner and operator of 481 KFCTM, Pizza HutTM and Taco BellTM restaurants in seven provinces across Canada. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Satellite Radio Investments, Inc. Mr. Bitove serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Obelysk. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of KEYreit (also known as Scott's Real Estate Investment Trust) until May 17, 2013. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Sirius XM Canada Holdings Inc. (XM Canada). He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. He served as the President at Canadian Satellite Radio Inc. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of KIT Inc. since November 10, 2003. In his business accomplishments, he served as a Volunteer President and Chief Executive Officer of Toronto's 2008 Olympic Bid Corporation. In 1993, He founded the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club. He led the NBA franchise-bid process, launched the team and created the Air Canada Centre, Toronto's major sports and entertainment venue. He served as an Executive Chairman of Canadian Satellite Radio, Inc. He served as an Executive Chairman at Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. since December 31, 2007. He served as Executive Chairman of Priszm Income Fund. He serves as the Chairman of Obelysk, Inc. He served as Chairman of Mobilicity and Data & Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless, Inc. until November 2011. He served as the Chairman of the Board at Sirius XM Canada Holdings Inc. until January 2015. He served as Chairman and Trustee of KEYreit until June 20, 2012 and also served as its Director. He served as the Chairman of KIT Inc. since November 10, 2003. He has been a Director of KIT Inc. since September 24 2003. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Gibraltar Ventures. He serves as Director at Data & Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless, Inc. He serves as a Trustee of Wake Forest University. Mr. Bitove served as Director at Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. since 2003. He served as a Director of Greektown Casino, L.L.C. He served as a Director of Sirius XM Canada Holdings Inc. since 2003 until January 15, 2016. He served as a Director of Greektown Superholdings Inc. from June 30, 2010 to May 17, 2013. He served as a Trustee of Priszm Income Fund. He served as a Director of Kulczyk Oil Ventures Inc. (Serinus Energy Inc.) from April 2004 to December 10, 2008. He served as a Trustee of KEYreit until June 20, 2012. He was the head of the organizing committees that brought the successful World Indoor Athletics (Track & Field) Championships and World Championships of Basketball to Canada in 1993 and 1994 respectively. Mr. Bitove founded S’Cool Life Fund. Mr. Bitove holds a Bachelor of Laws from University of Windsor in 1984 and Undergraduate in Marketing from Indiana University in 1983.
