Biography
Nathan Ackroyd is an Associate Professor who specializes in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry. His PhD work involved the design and synthesis of organometallic complexes of rhenium for use as radio-imaging agents in the diagnosis of breast cancer. In addition to teaching Organic Chemistry and related courses to science students, Dr. Ackroyd is part of an author team on a new textbook, Organic Chemistry: Mechanistic Patterns, scheduled for publication in 2017.
