Dr. Gavin Kernaghan is currently working as Associate Professor in Department of Biology, Mount Saint Vincent University Canada
Research Interest
Research in the Atlantic Root Symbiosis Laboratory focuses on the ecology of fungi in northern forests. In particular, the ecological relationships between plant communities and their fungal associates, including mycorrhizae, fungal endophytes and yeasts. Our approaches include field ecology, DNA based identification and quantification, biochemical analysis and microscopy.
