Biography
Mr. DeVries has significant and diverse business experience and has served as a director and officer of a number of companies (public and private) throughout the world. Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (1974) as well as a Bachelor of Law Degree (1977), both from the University of Alberta, and was admitted as a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 1978. Mr. DeVries practices law for over 30 years during which time he obtained extensive experience regarding the business and legal issues facing emerging businesses, with a focus on emerging technologies, securities, taxation and international business matters.
