Don Duval

Biography

 Don Duval is the Chief Executive Officer at NORCAT, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering our clients, our staff, and our community partners to drive a culture of productivity, innovation, and life-long learning. What does that mean? Well, plain and simple – our success is purely based on our client’s success. The more we can empower and support our customers and community with world-leading services and products to help them achieve their goals, the more we can say we are doing our job. As an angel investor, recovering tech entrepreneur, university engineering professor, and former executive at the MaRS Discovery District, Don is passionate to be part of a team that embodies the true spirit of collaboration, excellence, and innovation. Together, with our partners, NORCAT will continue to stay at the forefront of creating more ways to drive and contribute to Canada’s economic and social prosperity. Outside of his day to day activities, Don serves as the Northern Ontario Chair of the Manning Innovation Awards and sits on the Board of JUMP Math, University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), Canadian Innovation Exchange, and serves as the Chair of the Sudbury Queen’s Alumni Association. Academically, Don has a BScH in Chemistry from Queen's University and a MASc in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto.
