Biography
Kurt has worked in the heavy industrial field since 1989, and graduated from Lakehead University in 1994 with a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, Kurt worked first with a consulting engineering firm, and then worked in progressive roles from Maintenance Engineer to Senior Management within a heavy industrial company from 1996 to March 2007, when he joined Nordmin Engineering Ltd. Kurt joined Nordmin to lead the mechanical division, and became a Principal in the firm in 2008. He is an expert in all things mechanical, including machine design, and the design and commissioning of materials handling, pumping, and ventilation systems.
