Biography
Marko is a specialist in the design, construction, optimization and commissioning and start-up of process and plant control systems. Graduating from Lakehead University in 1989 he has been working in industry for 25 years. He started his career as a maintenance / project engineer in Gas Transmission and Pulp & Paper prior to beginning consulting for industrial clients including Pulp & Paper, Metal and Minerals Processing and Mining. Most recently Marko has managed and executed several large capital projects including mineral concentrating and processing, hoisting, metals and biomass combustion systems and steam turbine power generation. Marko was the founding Principal of KMH Engineering, establishing that firm in 1999. KMH Engineering merged with and became part of Nordmin Engineering in 2012. Prior to KMH, Marko worked for TransCanada Pipelines construction managing, commissioning and starting-up compressor stations, thereafter he joined Canadian Pacific Forest Products leading commissioning and start-up efforts for the Newsmill modernization including a new paper machine. He then took a hiatus to pursue his passion for cross country skiing becoming a member of the Canadian Cross Country Ski team from 1993 to 1995. Thereafter he established his own Engineering firm, MVS Engineering which evolved into KMH Engineering.
