Biography
Melissa attended McMaster University, graduating with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 1997 followed by a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy in 2000. Committed to constantly upgrading her skills and knowledge through continuing education, she`s taken a wide variety of additional courses on topics such as shoulder conditions and new trends in the prevention of running injuries. She's also completed advanced manual therapy courses, including: Mobilization with Movement and Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement Impairment. Melissa`s currently working towards achieving an Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Specializing in manual therapy, Melissa has extensive experience in helping clients with post-operative rehabilitation, complex shoulder conditions, running analysis and assessment, and sports injuries. When not hard at work at the clinic, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, running, travelling and exploring different cultures and foods.
