Biography
Dr. Saleem Malik received his medical degree from Cambridge University and St Thomas’ Hospital London. He received his Ph.D. for research into the antitumor effects of TNF at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London, UK. He came to Thunder Bay in 1992 as a Medical Oncologist Director of Cancer Research at the NWORCC and held this position until 2000. He was the Chief of Internal Medicine until January 2010. He is currently Section Chair of Internal Medicine at NOSM and also the Chair of Theme 5 at NOSM. Dr Malik has a busy general Internal Medicine practice in Thunder Bay and is particularly interested in diabetes Dr. Saleem Malik received his medical degree from Cambridge University and St Thomas’ Hospital London.
