Biography
Les Parrette* Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Compliance Officer Les Parrette is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Compliance Officer for Novelis Inc. He is responsible for leadership and oversight of the company’s legal department, which supports the company in legal and business strategy, litigation and other legal proceedings including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, the administration of operating contracts, international and domestic securities law and corporate governance and compliance. He also has responsibility for the internal audit function. Parrette rejoined Novelis in October 2009 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Compliance Officer, a position he held previously from 2005 to early 2009. For a brief period prior to that, Parrette served as Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs and General Counsel for WESCO International, Inc., a Fortune 500 holding company that is a leading distributor of electrical products and supplies.
