Biography
He has over 25years of progressive expereince in the hospitality industry, focusing mainly on healthcare managing business on a P&L basis. I have recently completed my MBA through Athabasca University. In 2008 I won the Compass Group 'Dennis Logan Leadership Award- District Manager of the Year. I have extensive experience developing policy and procedure manuals, developing disaster plans, developing and implementing contingecy plans for emergency relocation of kitchens (set up 2 mobile ktichens due to closure of permanent kitchens for construction), have gone trhough several accreditations, have participated successfully in the sales process and have developed strong managers and strong relationships with my clients.
Research Interest
Michael is an extremely dedicated educator. His expertise was instrumental in the successful redevelopment of the Food Service and Nutrition Management Program at HealthCareCAN. He designed, developed and implemented a series of lessons for the Business Management and Marketing course which provide a variety of creative and effective learning experiences for students
