Biography
Dr. Darveau is a Professor in the Departments of Periodontics and Oral Biology, at the University of Washington. He has over 18 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a research scientist and leads a group identifying novel anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory therapeutic intervention strategies. Dr. Darveau was recently awarded the 2007 Basic Research in Periodontal Disease Award from the International Association for Dental Research (IADR). Dr. Darveau is a Professor in the Departments of Periodontics and Oral Biology, at the University of Washington.
