Biography
Dr. Compton is an Associate Professor and Director of the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Alberta. Holding a Ph.D. in Education, Dr. Compton’s teaching is focused in the areas of ethics, evidence-based decision making for practice and dental implantology. She currently practices in a clinic focused on implant placement, and was one of four principal investigators in the recent Periowave™ Canadian Multi-Centre Trial. Dr. Compton is an Associate Professor and Director of the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Alberta.
