Biography
Dr. Pelmus has received her MD and PhD degrees from the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She underwent residency training in Pathology at the same institution, followed by fellowships training in Bone Pathology and in Soft Tissue Tumors at Cochin Hospital (Paris, France) and Bergonié Institute (Bordeaux, France). Since her residency graduation, Dr. Pelmus has been staff pathologist at University Hospital and „Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Bucharest, Romania), Sherbrooke University Hospital (Canada) and Jewish General Hospital, Montreal (Canada) with active implication in university teaching programs, research and clinical activity.
