Biography
Isabelle Trempe leads business development at Paladin Labs, encompassing merger and acquisitions, product licensing and acquisition efforts, new product evaluations, and alliance management. Prior to joining Paladin Labs, Ms. Trempe served as Senior Director, Business Development at Labopharm and during that time, completed a number of significant transactions, including securing licenses in the US, Japan, Latin America and Europe. In this role, she was also responsible for the establishing and leading the market research/market data group. Prior to joining Labopharm, Ms. Trempe business development responsibilities at Elan Pharmaceuticals, based in San Francisco/San Diego, where she led several transactions, including product licensing, acquisitions, and divestitures. From 1996 to 2000, Ms. Trempe held business development positions at Los Angeles based Da Vita Healthcare. Her responsibilities included leading the specialty nephrology pharmacy division and M&A in the US and Europe, DaVita’s first foray into international markets. Ms. Trempe began her career in as an investment banking analyst, at Salomon Brothers in New York and Hong Kong. Ms. Trempe earned a bachelor degree Honors Business Administration (HBA) from Richard Ivey School of Business at Western and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
