Biography
Ignacio Couturier was appointed Vice President Finance of Pan American Silver Corp. in March 2014 He joined Pan American Silver in August 2002 as Manager Special Project and since then has held various positions in the company’s finance group. Over his 14 years with Pan American Silver, Mr. Couturier has worked in the areas of treasury management, financial analysis, insurance, commercial management, precious metal sales, risk management, operations reporting, planning and budgeting. Prior to Pan American Silver, Mr. Couturier worked for Minera Antamina and Rio Algom Ltd. Mr. Couturier is a dual Peruvian / Canadian citizen and is fluent in Spanish and English. He holds a BSc. in Geological Engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from McGill University.
