Biography
In 2009, Jim joined PCL as president, Central and Eastern Canada Buildings, based in the Toronto district office. He is responsible for operations extending from Manitoba to Newfoundland. Jim has more than 36 years of development and construction experience in Canada and the US. Prior to joining PCL, he worked as a consultant with the Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal in Ontario to help put together the Alternative Financing and Procurement program, and joined Infrastructure Ontario at its inception as executive vice president, Project Delivery. Also, Jim has had significant leadership positions with two key Ontario industry players: the Falls Management Company where he was responsible for the development of the $1-billion Fallsview Casino and Resort in Niagara Falls, and a leading construction industry contracting firm. He joined PCL’s board of directors in 2011 and its Corporate Service Steering Committee in 2015.
