Biography
As vice president and district manager, Rob is responsible for PCL’s Edmonton Buildings, Civil, and Special Projects operations. He joined PCL in 1994 as a project manager and was promoted to manager, Special Projects, in 1997. Rob was appointed district manager in Regina in 2003, relocated to Calgary in 2008 to take on the role of district manager there, and was appointed vice president and district manager in 2012. Rob has been vice president and district manager of PCL’s Edmonton Buildings division since July 2014. Rob earned a bachelor of applied science degree in civil engineering (University of Waterloo), is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), and is a Gold Seal-certified project manager. Rob is responsible for PCL’s sustainability initiative in Canada and is a director of the Canadian Green Building Council, which oversees administration of LEED® certification of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings, and was elected as a director of the Canadian Construction Association (CCA).
