Biography
Ms. McGregor became a member of the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Board of Directors in 2008. Prior to her retirement, Barbara was a senior partner in the law firm Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt in Toronto. Barbara specialized in real estate investment and development in Canada. She acted as counsel for various investors (including large pension funds and non-Canadian entities) and for governmental bodies (such as municipalities and universities) in structuring transactions with the private/public sector. Barbara has been profiled in the Lexpert/American Lawyer Media Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory (in property leasing, property development, and corporate - commercial law categories) and Chambers Global’s The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business. She is a past member of Trent University’s Board of Governors. Barbara grew up in Peterborough, and has a home in Douro, outside Lakefield.
