Biography
Dr. Martin-Ronson joined PRHC in 2012 from University Health Network in Toronto where she worked as part of the executive team of Shared Information Management Services (SIMS) for five years. While at SIMS, she led information management and information technology operations for the Toronto Central Community Care Access Centre and the West Park Healthcare Centre and previously served as Deputy Chief Information Officer at Bridgepoint Health in Toronto. In addition to her experience in Information Management, Dr. Martin-Ronson also has an extensive employment history as a clinical nurse specialist with a focus on chronic disease management, with many years of front-line nursing experience in Kitchener, Ottawa and Edmonton. She completed her M.Sc.N at University of Toronto, and her Ph.D. at University of Waterloo. Dr. Martin-Ronson has also been an associate clinical professor at McMaster University for 15 years, teaching graduate statistics, critical appraisal, and applied research methods. Nancy is currently an adjunct professor at Trent University and Queen’s University. Dr. Martin-Ronson lives in Peterborough with her family.
