Biography
Simpson is Lead Director for the Board of Canadian Utilities. Formerly President of Chevron Canada Resources, he retired after a 30 year career with Chevron Corporation. While President of Chevron Canada, Mr. Simpson was involved with several remediation projects including a multi-million dollar program to identify and remediate oil pipeline river and stream crossings from legacy operations. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and actively participated in climate change issues and emerging regulatory policies related to Canada's petroleum industry. He has also participated in the World Petroleum Congress. Mr. Simpson holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Geology and a M.Sc. in Geophysics.
