Larry Backman

Biography

 Larry is responsible for the strategic growth and development of our operations in Eastern and Northeastern Ontario, with offices ranging from Kingston and Ottawa to Sault Ste. Marie and Timmins. Larry is the principal client manager for national clients with regard to their environmental issues. He has acted as the lead consultant on numerous portfolios involving assets located throughout North America. With over 25 years in the engineering consulting industry, combined with experience in government environmental compliance, Larry helps clients in the commercial, industrial and multi-residential real estate industry understand and navigate environmental risk and liability as part of property transactions. He acted as the Project Principal on the largest real estate transaction in Canada to date, involving $2.3 billion and 228 assets from coast to coast.
