Richard Guttman

Biography

Mr. Richard Guttman, B.A.Sc. (Engineering) LL.B, MBA serves as General Counsel and Vice President of Legal at PointClickCare Corp. Mr. Guttman serves as Corporate Secretary of Score Media Inc. He served as General Counsel and Vice President of Interwind Corp. (formerly SkyPower Corporation). He served as Vice President and General Counsel of Score Media Inc. Mr. Guttman supported all areas of SkyPower's corporate development and operations including corporate finance, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, power and equipment purchase and relating financings, and intellectual property management. He served as Vice President of Legal, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Workbrain L.P. Mr. Guttman has over 10 years’ experience in developing high-growth technology companies, including 724 Solutions, Cognicase/CGI Group Inc., and Score Media. His legal and technical expertise includes intellectual property licensing, complex distribution and outsourcing arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, and public company securities and compliance. Prior to his in-house career, he practiced for several years at Goodmans LLP in its tax and corporate groups. He is a Qualified Engineer and Lawyer. Mr. Guttman holds a B.A.Sc. in applied science from the University of Toronto, an LL.B from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA in Science and Technology from Queen’s University.
