Biography
Mark Silva teaches yoga that will plunge you deep into the base of your heart, acknowledging the connection we all share inside. From a deep root to source, careful attention to the breath, and detailed alignment of the body, this inward connection is brought back out into the world. Classes focus on detailed alignment of the body, progressively building poses and sequences, while also offering options for all levels of students. Prepare to work hard, breath deep, and smile. Mark has been teaching for over a decade and has completed E-RYT 500. He teaches regular public classes, workshops, and retreats and frequently collaborates with his partner, Ai Kubo. Mark studies with Noah Maze, Sianna Sherman, Desiree Rumbaugh, and Douglas Brooks. His two amazing daughters teach him something everyday.
