Biography
Kim Gill is the Manager of Aquaculture with the Prince Edward Island Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. Kim has worked extensively with industry and government on aquaculture development for over 10 years and is excited and optimistic about the growth of the aquaculture industry in Canada. A member of a number of aquaculture working groups, committees and Boards that extends from provincial to national, Kim has a keen interest in all things aquaculture. Kim has spent her entire life on the East coast, and today resides in eastern PEI with her husband, two kids, and three four-legged friends. She is a graduate of Cape Breton University (BSc. Biology 2004) and the University of Prince Edward Island (MSc. Veterinary Medicine 2007 and MBA 2015), and has completed a number of leadership programs. In her “spare timeâ€, she enjoys everything sports, but in particular, coaching and running her kids to hockey and soccer.
