Biography
Dr. Tom Klein is a highly experienced cataract and glaucoma surgeon who has performed thousands of glaucoma laser and incisional procedures, and cataract operations on patients from Canada and abroad. Dr. Klein has co-authored guidelines on the medical management of glaucoma in Canada. Innovative diagnostic and treatment options introduced locally by Dr. Klein include multifocal lens implants during cataract surgery and the HRT for optic nerve imaging. Dr. Klein was the first eye surgeon to introduce SLT laser treatment for glaucoma locally, which is now a standard of care.
