Biography

National Managing Partner, Strategy & Operations Serge is PwC Canada’s Managing Partner of Cities, Clients and Operations. He has oversight for all of PwC’s Cities, Stakeholders, Marketing and Sales, Business Transformation and Innovation. Prior to this role, Serge was the Managing Partner and Leader of the Audit and Assurance Group (AAG) where he was responsible for the practice’s strategy, profitability, people, regulatory and quality. As AAG leader, Serge was also a member of the Global Assurance Leadership team and Western Cluster Assurance Coordinator. A National Managing Partner since 2008, Serge previously led the Audit and Assurance Group’s Human Capital and Operations team (2006 to 2008) and was the Greater Toronto Area Assurance Healthcare Leader (1998 to 2005). From 1992 to 1998, Serge participated in three secondments, holding several leadership positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations, for three large healthcare organizations in Ontario. Serge currently acts as a senior relationship partner (SRP) on many of our largest Canadian clients in various industries and has extensive experience of dealing with both large and small Canadian and foreign multi-national public and private companies. He is well versed in audit, accounting, systems and controls, risks and other general business issues. Serge has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and is a Canadian Chartered Accountant. In 2013, he was elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Charted Accountants of Ontario for his dedication to the profession and community. He is a frequent instructor for the Institute of Corporate Directors and a member of the audit committee for the Ontario Division of the Canadian Cancer Society.
