Biography
Tahir Ayub is our Managing Partner, Markets and Industries, and former Private Company Services (PCS) leader of PwC Canada. He has oversight for all industries and PCS, and is the sponsor of the PwC Experience and National Priority Accounts program. Tahir's knowledge of IPO's, due diligence and transaction support allows him to provide clients with strategic business advice to help meet their needs. He also has experience of working with public companies from a variety of industries. His knowledge in the areas of accounting and audit, corporate and personal taxation, acquisition and disposition structuring, and strategic planning allows him to provide clients with multi-disciplined business advice and effectively coordinate specialized resources within the PwC network. Tahir began his career at PwC in the UK in 1986 and became a partner in 1998. A graduate of the University of Leeds, England, Tahir holds a BA (Honours Economics). He is also a chartered accountant. In 2003, Tahir had the experience of a lifetime when he worked with the United Nations in Nambia on a HIV/AIDS project for two months as part of the PwC Ulysses program.
