Biography
Mr. Oliver Kuhn, B.Sc., P. Geoph. serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Quantec Geoscience Ltd. Mr. Kuhn is a Senior Geophysicist with many years of management experience in the geophysical service sector. Mr. Kuhn served as Vice President of Processing of Divestco Inc. from May 1, 2006 to June 22, 2010. He served as the President of the CSEG in 2006. Mr. Kuhn served as General Manager of Processing Division for ARAM Systems Corporation. He served as General Manager of Geo-X Systems Ltd., Processing Division, where he joined in 1984. He joined Geo-X Systems Ltd. as a Seismic Processor. Over the years he transitioned from technical roles into management, and held various positions, including Processing Supervisor at Geco-Prakla, and Vice President at Apoterra Seismic Processing Ltd. He has worked in Calgary, Singapore, Wellington, Australia, and now Toronto. He is a member of the SEG, CSEG, and APEGA. Mr. Kuhn was an enthusiastic volunteer for the CSEG. He gained his B.Sc.
