Biography
Dr. Paul Heffernan completed his medical training and internal medicine residency at Memorial University, Newfoundland. This was followed by fellowships in Respirology and Critical Care Medicine at Queen’s University, Ontario. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s. His clinical activities are split between Respirology and Critical Care Medicine. He received his Master’s of Clinical epidemiology from Memorial University, Newfoundland. Dr. Heffernan’s academic interests include research in the epidemiology of asthma and socioeconomic predictors of health. He also has a keen interest in medical education.
