Biography
Doug Munroe graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in political science in 2003, and worked in the Emergency Management and National Security Branch at the Department of Public Safety until 2006. He then left the public service to pursue a master’s degree in international security studies at St Andrews University, and a PhD in military and strategic studies at the University of Calgary. At Quest, Doug teaches Global Perspectives, The Politics of Cyberspace, Peacebuilding, Gender/Politics, Comparative Political Institutions, Canadian Political Strategy, and Topics in Security Studies.
Research Interest
Security policy, terrorism and counterterrorism.
