Biography
A scientist at heart, Henry spent time on the research side before transitioning to software engineering. While working on his PhD in Physics, Henry investigated light carrying optical angular momentum in a research group he founded with funding from NASA, the Department of Defense, and Corning. From there, Henry developed an interest in software development which led him to Boxee and then Homefield as its first software engineer. He later was part of the founding team of Shelby.tv, which was acquired by Samsung. Henry has published over 15 peer reviewed research papers and holds 3 patents.
