Biography
Dr. Ma has 15 years of experience in bioinformatics research and commercialization. He is a professor in Cheriton’s School of Computer Science at University of Waterloo. He was formerly a co-founder and a board member at Bioinformatics Solutions Inc., where he created the PEAKS software. He is passionate in developing innovative and easy-to-use bioinformatics software and making it widely accessible in both the private and public sectors
