Biography
Broadly, his research interests involve the role of experience in shaping our ability to recognize and process faces. As such, he is interested in the various environmental factors that influence how children and adults learn to identify both familiar and unfamiliar faces, such as face race and age, in-group identification, and even educational setting. Outside of his own research, he serves as a reviewer for numerous academic journals and am a member of the Vision Sciences Society.
Research Interest
The development of expertise in face processing; The role of experience in shaping expertise for certain face categories; Trait attributions based on facial structure; The perception of facial attractiveness.
