Biography
Sharon Klassen, Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts, holds a B.Journ., BA Hons. and MA from Carlton University and is a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto. Prof. Klassen teaches courses in the history of theatre, public speaking and on the opera and the musical. Her research interests include Victorian and Edwardian British drama, Renaissance drama, theatre and social justice and set design. She runs the Storytelling Project, where Redeemer students visit a downtown Hamilton school each winter to participate in a program that uses storytelling to promote literacy.
